RDA Wide Bay Burnett’s strategic direction is driven by an 11-person committee whose members collectively represent the entire region, and who bring deep and vast expertise from across government, industry and community sectors. The organisation is led by a Director of Regional Development, and supported by a small local team.

RDAs are funded by the Australian Government and administered by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.

Gympie Mayor, Glenn also chairs the Gympie Regional Council Local Disaster Management Group and is involved with the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Road Group.

RDA Wide Bay Burnett produces or commissions a range of publications, reports and studies to guide strategy, support decision-making and keep government, business and community stakeholders informed.
