Tanya O’Shea – Member
Tanya is a highly experienced business and community leader, with more than two decades of experience working in the not-for-profit sector at executive level.
Currently the Managing Director of IMPACT Community Services, she has led significant growth since joining the organisation in 1999, through a strategy of innovation and diversification.
This has included the development of programs across the Wide Bay Burnett tailored to respond to service gaps, as well as the implementation of market-competitive social enterprise models that create jobs and revenue streams independent of government funding.
Tanya is a member of the Wide Bay Burnett Fraser Coast Regional Community Forum, a previous Board Member of Surf Life Saving Queensland, and has contributed to many other organisations at a Board level.
She holds multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and an MBA.
A strong advocate for regional Australia, Tanya is passionate about improving lives through collaboration, capacity building and creating opportunities that empower and strengthen resilience.
