Tim Sayre – Project Officer, Jobs Bundaberg

Tim brings more than two decades of experience across small business, government and not-for-profit sectors to his role as Jobs Bundaberg’s Project Officer.
His previous roles have included Regional Stakeholder Manager for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, Bundaberg and District Chamber of Commerce President, as well as being a small business owner for more than 10 years.
He holds a Graduate Diploma of Project Management and a Bachelor of Teaching, both from CQUniversity.
Throughout his working life, Tim has witnessed significant changes to the Bundaberg employment landscape, with the focus shifting from “finding jobs for people” to “finding people for jobs”.
This challenge is one of his key drivers as he works in partnership with the business and community sectors and all levels of government to find long-term solutions.
Tim is passionate about business and industry, in particular small to medium enterprises, believing them to be the foundation of our local economies and essential parts of the community fabric.
